Im in the UK at the moment. This being a Bahai board I am hesitatant to be fully honest.

In the UK,USA, and West Europe the military have a rather nasty habit of harming you(will not go into detail), as they do in other countries. In Iran I believe they occoasionally stone or execute homosexuals, adulterers etc.

Now in the UK, there being a little bit more money and much better technology, the police do whatever they do in the middle of the night while the victim is sleep. This being a slightly richer country also, when the police decide to harm ppl it is carried out uniformly and thoroughly. So you have a class of ppl who know theyve been harmed, but have little evidence. The acronym is FUTABG. G stands for Garbage. which is equivalent to anything Brittish, Irish, Dutch, or associated to these. on either side of the atlantic.

Ive been to Netherlands. The police attempted to bribe me there. Also threatened me. As a bisexual Id like to say theres slightly TOO much homosexuality in Holland. The Dutch army should keep &*(&*(&*( out of tourists bedrooms. This sounds funny but its not actually.

As a Bahai from an Islamic country I agree. AllahuAbha. Im curious what the Boyfriend of that Mahathir guy in Malaysia who was imprisoned for sodomy looked like. 10 yrs imprisonement for sex with some cute male. Good lord.
However. There are SOME Islamic countries which arent too bad. Here and there. just about. Leave you alone and if they do evil, its to your face. I believe they have cars there also.

Well I was hoping to go to Beirut. Some Gay clubs there I believe. I believe the standard of living is lower than west europe, but not too much If you have a decent job.

You define sodomy as "the behavior embodied in the story of Sodom and Gomora....i.e. the Rape of Lot...i.e. Male-Male rape." However, this is not the English dictionary definition nor the sense of the Arabic. Sodomy is simply copulation with a same gender individual, or non-procreative sex with an opposite gender individual.

There is a tendency for those who advocate for gays in the Faith to want to define away the basic meaning of English words in order to narrow down the proscriptions. Baha'u'llah specifically forbade sodomy and other acts in the following passage:

"Ye are forbidden to commit adultery, sodomy and lechery. Avoid them, O concourse of the faithful. By the righteousness of God! Ye have been called into being to purge the world from the defilement of evil passions. This is what the Lord of all mankind hath enjoined upon you, could ye but perceive it. He who relateth himself to the All-Merciful and committeth satanic deeds, verily he is not of Me. Unto this beareth witness every atom, pebble, tree and fruit, and beyond them this ever-proclaiming, truthful and trustworthy Tongue."

Had he meant specifically male-male rape, He would almost certainly have described it differently. All three of the acts He forbids in this passage carry the implication of being freely chosen by the participants:

adultery = voluntary sexual intercourse between a married person and someone other than his/her spouse

lechery = inordinate indulgence in sexual activity
